Crete is the biggest Island of Greece.
People from crete are very hospitably.
There are many excavations on the Island of Crete, some of
the well know excavations are:
The palace of King Minos and Malia.
When you love to be in nature, you should really walk through
the Gorge of Samaria.
In Crete many things are to be discovered yourself. Rent a
car or motorcycle.
And to discover Crete, you will need an extra pair of eyes.
Some of the known places on Crete are:
Chania, Rethymnon, Heraklion, Agios Nikoloas, Chersonissos,
Elounda, Vaļ and Malia.
A lot of nice excursions can be made starting from Crete.
Try for instance the old lepper island, called Spinalonga,
or Santorini and Karpathos.
You can take domestic flights to Athens. This is a flight of
less than 25 minutes.
