capital of Santorini is called Fira |

Messaria is the harbour in which you arrive when you
come by boat. |

A winding road leads you to the captial, you can
take the road up uy donkey, or take the cablecar. |

Fira is the most beautifull town. The town is known
from the many posters and postcards with white
houses and pastel coloured roofs. |

The beach of Santorini is a mix of lavasand, sand
stones and small stones. |
|
|
The real nice beaches are found near Kamari and
Perissa. |
|
|
Santorini has two known places with excavations,
namely Thira and Akrotiri, the latter is about ±
4000 years old. |
